Seth Long
Managing Principal
Seth is the founding visionary behind Shoreland Group, responsible for the overarching investment strategy and design + development approach. He believes that residential real estate is uniquely tethered to human emotion and that a home is the physical manifestation of one’s passions and priorities. Seth is inspired by the complex psychology that underpins residential real estate and the premium that thoughtfully designed, carefully curated properties command.
Seth has over two decades of professional finance, real estate development and investment experience with a proven track record of transforming overlooked, underutilized properties. Through conscientious redevelopment, Seth is committed to improving communities and revitalizing historic neighborhoods.
Prior to founding Shoreland Group, Seth was a Senior Manager of Investments for Regency Centers (NYSE: REG), a leading developer of Class-A, grocery and big-box anchored shopping centers. At Regency, Seth was integral to the deal-making, conceptual design and ground-up development of over $200M of neighborhood and regional shopping centers.
Seth began his career on Wall St. in corporate banking finance with Brown Brothers Harriman & Co as an officer of a $100M senior debt portfolio.
Seth received his MBA from the Tuck School at Dartmouth College and his BA in Neuroscience from Bowdoin College.
Seth holds active professional licenses in the State of Florida as a Certified Building Contractor (#CBC1266197) and Professional Real Estate Sales Associate (#SL3285490).
Joanne Long
Design Principal
Joanne is a founding principal and leads design for Shoreland Group, overseeing the creative process of each project from conceptual renderings to final fit-out of furniture, fixtures and finishes. Joanne’s passion for art, architecture and textiles is evident in her unique, custom luxury interiors. Through inspired design and a keen ability to identify the highest and best use of each space, Joanne is integral to satisfying clients’ design aspirations as well as actualizing the firm’s investment strategy.
For more than a decade, Joanne ran her own successful interior design business, Jo Kantor Designs Inc., transforming high-end residential interiors across a wide variety of aesthetics. Her portfolio ranges from full-scale remodels and ground-up residential developments to commercial build-outs.
Joanne has a Master’s Degree in Interior Architecture & Design from Florida Institute of Technology and a Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts from the University of Michigan.
Peter O’Neill
Construction Manager
Peter oversees contracting and construction for Shoreland Group. Peter’s experience managing construction ranges from luxury residential renovations to ground-up builds and commercial projects for blue-chip, international retailers and hospitality groups.
A native of County Kerry, Ireland, Peter has more than two decades of experience in the construction industry. He is disciplined in his process-driven approach, dedicated to enforcing high standards and strives to complete projects on-time and on-budget.
Julian Quinn
Principal Architect
Julian Quinn is a registered architect in the States of Georgia and Florida, a member of the American Institute of Architects and holds a LEED AP designation from the US Green Building Council [USGBC]. Julian’s expertise ranges from luxury residences to large scale urban planning projects throughout the US and internationally.
Julian is also the founding principal of Blank Design Studio, a boutique architecture practice located in Coconut Grove, Florida. Julian holds a Bachelor of Architecture Degree from Southern Polytechnic State University.
